New Classroom Start Date!

WHEW! The wait is over! Children, Youth and Families Licensing Department made their visit on Thursday and gave us the go ahead! She will return early Monday morning to measure our playground and we are off and running! Our tables arrived on Friday morning and an awesome team of volunteers showed up armed with cordless drills and “tada!” tables!
Our current plan is to have the site inspector back on Monday morning. On Tuesday drop by between 9am to 11am for an Open House for the children. Parent Orientation is from noon to 2pm. The children may return with you but the assistants will take them to the playground to play and get to know one another while parents are in the Orientation. The Orientation is only meant for parents as we will be discussing safety and daily routine information. Then Wednesday morning we are officially starting our first day of school! YEAH!

New Classroom Update

We're busy getting the new classroom ready. This week we began working on painting and assembling curriculum and artwork for the class. We will need inspections by Children Youth and Families Department and the Fire Marshall. If all goes well we should be ready to start the new class in March. Keep posted for a more firm date.

Teacher Hired for New Classroom

This week we were fortunate enough to hire Dawn Castle who is an experienced American Montessori Society Certified educator with 13-years experience.
